• A genre is a thematic category for films or motion
pictures based on similarities either in the narrative
elements, or the emotional response to the film.
Documentary as a Genre :
* Documentary Film is a non-fiction motion picture
intended to document reality primarily for the purposes
of instruction, education, or maintaining a historical
record. This film is an Observational Documentary .
Objective
* The main objective of this Documentary is to draw
attention to the Child Labour prevelant in mining of Mica in
the state of Jharkhand , heavily rich in Natural Resources .
This Documentary also throws light on the hardships in the
lives of miners .
Summary
Documentary Analysis
In this documentary , we see how child labour is being
practiced in the under priviledged parts of Jharkhand due
to lack of Facilities . We also see the lack of Infrastructure ,
how despite the dangerous way of extraction , the miners
are forced to sell Mica at a low rate of Rs.5 / kg which is
later on , used to make expensive products . This movie
also throws light on the lives and problems of the miners .

Recommendations
Illegal mining of Mica should be checked .
Children should be sent to school instead of mines.
Proper and fixed price for extracted Mica should be
provided.
Govt. should invest in the form of human capital.
Factories should be setup in impoverished areas.
