Introduction
One of the major problems that the world is currently facing is the
COVID-19 pandemic. To fight the said virus, vaccines were developed.
However, the concern of the side effects brought by the vaccines came to the
public's attention. As a result, people are hesitant to get vaccinated.
According to Statista Research Department on their published article about
COVID-19 Vaccination Roll-out in the Philippines 2021, ages 18 and above
with partial vaccination is at 1398.88, and 1179.88 are fully vaccinated in
Davao Region, dated last October 18, 2021. There are numerous people who
would not get vaccinated, reasons to their doubts is the fright of getting the
side effects, and worst is death. (David Robinson, Why Some People Don't
Want a COVID-19 Vaccine, July 2021)
To aid this problem, Project: Know your Vaccine was made as a solution.
The purpose of this project is to raise knowledge and awareness about
vaccines. This project will also make use of print media to encourage
people to get vaccinated, and to educate them about its importance. With
the help of the leader of Barangay Dahican, Mati City, Hon. Nestor
Escasinas, this project would be possible. The capability of the facilitators
to undertake the project in the community of Barangay Dahican, Mati City
is pro efficient as it is budget-friendly.
The agency is also qualified to realize the project due to computer
literated members and almost everyone has great leadership backgrounds.
Aside from its relevance and timeliness for the need of the community, the
project needs support and fund to end confusion, and encourage the public
to get vaccinated. The funds will be sustained to accomplish the Project:
Know your Vaccine, and help raise the vaccination roll out in Barangay
Dahican, Mati City.

individuals are afraid to get vaccinated and even encourage
others to do the same. This project’s goal is to solve those
problems listed above.
Project: Know your

PROCESS EVALUATION
- On November 8 flyers and tarpaulins will be distributed among barangays
containing information about vaccine awareness.
The proposed project helps everyone understand its importance and
significance since there has been confusion and misunderstandings about
vaccines. Vaccinations are an important part of family and public health.
Vaccines prevent the spread of contagious, dangerous, and deadly diseases. The
study will broaden our understanding on what the vaccine is all about. Its
benefit is that it will lay knowledge to thousands of people who are confused
and ignorant about the vaccine issue.
