1. COUNTABLE NOUNS

Countable nouns are nouns or things that can be counted in units of numbers.Usually,objects or things that are
countable nouns are solid or tangible. Countable nouns have a singular (singular) and plural (plural) form. When
you want to ask the amount in an interrogative sentence, use "how many" followed by the plural form of
noun.you can prefix 'a' or 'an’ or 'one' to the singular noun. Whereas for plural nouns you can prefix 'two' or
'three', and so on. Don't forget to add 's' or 'es' at the end of the word for plural nouns
-Countable nouns adalah kata benda atau hal-hal yang bisa dihitung satuannya dengan angka. Biasanya, benda-benda
atau hal yang termasuk countable nouns berbentuk padat atau berwujud nyata. Countable nouns punya bentuk tunggal
(singular) dan jamak (plural).Ketika ingin menanyakan jumlahnya dengan kalimat tanya, gunakan "how many" diikuti
dengan bentuk jamak dari noun. kalian bisa memberi awalan‘a’ atau ’an’ atau ‘one’ pada kata benda tunggal. Sedangkan
pada kata benda jamak kalian bisa beri awalan ‘two’ atau ‘three’, dan seterusnya.Jangan lupa untuk mengimbuhkan ‘s’
atau ‘es’ di akhir kata untuk kata benda jamak.

2. UNCOUNTABLE NOUNS

Uncountable nouns are nouns or things that cannot be or are difficult to count. The
characteristics of objects or things that are abstract (not real), quality, or nature. Concrete or
tangible objects that include uncountable nouns are usually too small to count because of
their unclear shape. Uncountable nouns are usually in the form of liquids, gases, or powders.
Unlike countable nouns, uncountable nouns have only a singular form (singular) which is
used with verbs or singular verbs as well. Usually, uncountable nouns don't have the plural
form. When you want to ask the amount in an interrogative sentence, use "how much".

benda atau hal yang abstrak (tidak nyata), kualitas, atau sifat. Benda konkret atau nyata yang
termasuk uncountable nouns biasanya terlalu kecil untuk dihitung karena bentuknya tak jelas.
Benda yang termasuk uncountable nouns biasanya berbentuk cairan, gas, atau bubuk. Berbeda dari
countable nouns, uncountable nouns hanya punya bentuk tunggal (singular) yang digunakan
bersama verb atau kata kerja tunggal juga. Biasanya, uncountable nouns tidak punya bentuk jamak.
