Ladies and Gentlement.

This time I will give a

speech about the struggle for independence in
Indonesia.
In the atmosphere of Indonesia's independence day, I
want to inflame the spirit of Indonesian independence,
which feels like it has been eroded too much in the souls
of Indonesian youth.
If we look at the heroic stories of the heroes in
fighting for Indonesian independence, they are very
heart-wrenching. Their services will be invaluable.
How not, the number of victims scattered and the smell
of fishy blood wafted here and there. The torment of the
people who have to work tirelessly to get a bite of rice.
The children of the country cannot have
a happy childhood, instead watching
their parents being killed by the colonists
Women became sexual slaves only to fulfill the desires of
the colonizers. It was a dark period for all Indonesian
people.
Ladies and gentlemen, remember
though! Our heroes who died in war
Their efforts were not in vain. Never give up to
uphold the rights and freedoms of the Indonesian
people even though their lives are at stake.
The happiness of the people is their main goal. They
always pray for the sake of praying to free
themselves from the nightmare of the invaders.
But God never sleeps. He witnessed the long
struggle of the heroes until many victims had died
in battle.
Finally, the prayers and groans of all the people
were heard and were granted come true.
This is not a dream. Indonesia is finally independent.
Freedom from foreigners. Freedom because now the
people have rights and human rights.
No more forced work without pay. They are no
longer slaves. Finally the long wait for the storm has
passed.
We live in an era as a generation that
carries the mandate of freedom fighters
to fill independence as well as possible.
The role of the younger generation like us is very much needed in
order to fight the enemies of the nation and state. We have great
potential in bringing this ark of Indonesian leadership into the
future.
Ladies and Gantlement what our nation is facing today is
really hard. The uncertain political, economic, and social
problems in the country force us to take part in overseeing
the running of the government of the nation and state.
Therefore, let us fight together for the sake of the Indonesian
nation and state with something we have, with something we
are capable of doing, and with all our body and soul to serve the
nation.
It doesn't feel like it's been 76 years since we've been independent
from foreign occupation. It does not feel like our country has
experienced many developments and twists and turns in maintaining
and living this independence.
Supposedly, this Independence Day commemoration
can be used as a moment to reflect on the services and
struggles of the heroes, as well as reflect on how the
condition of this country is,
whether independence is said to have been
fully felt, or has it been colonized indirectly?
