DIRECTED TEACHING
-It is perhaps the oldest approach but the main objective is
the mastery of technique and design and the perspective
in other areas and in as much as this method is traditional,
it is not recommended for use in the elementary and
secondary levels because the teachers are just teaching
and the students are just the receiver of the knowledge so
the students are passive and not active.

> This method suggests that the work of
pupils is spontaneous that it originates with
them and not teacher dominated.
> Concerned with the learners’ genuine ideas

This method involves the use of art education as the
center which all the activities should revolve at certain
times.
Other learning areas may be used as the core on
which art lessons are focused.
