INTRODUC
TION
Palawan is home to one of the country's wealthiest
provinces in terms of biodiversity.
It is lined with sugary beaches, cays, and towering
limestone formations that are unlike any other.
Dense forests comprises a sizable majority of the island
province and serves as habitat for many endemic species:
pitcher plants, mouse deer, pangolin, and many others.
The most well-known places among tourists are El Nido,
Coron, Puerto Princesa, and San Vicente.
NACPAN BEACH
- a laid back destination that lets you relax and unwind from the daily grind
- one of the best attractions in Coron
- limestone azure waters
- salty water that is quite refreshing
- you can swim in its clear, turquoise waters
BARRACUDA LAKE
- hike to the viewing deck to see the white cross and panoramic views of the landscape
- the mountain is easy to climb because of the concrete steps and
- there are benches in which visitors can rest
- watch the sunset to see the sky turn red
IWAHIG FIREFLY
WATCHING AREA
- visit during nighttime on a riverboat cruise to view flickering fireflies
- an eco tour; perfect chance for travelers to explore Puerto Princesa's beauty
- unfortunately for now, it is temporarily closed

PARK
- this wildlife sanctuary is home to variety of animals that is from Africa that were transported there
in 1976
- many endangered species dwell in the sanctuary such as the mouse deer, calamian deer, grevy's
zebra, Philippine freshwater crocodile, and the binturong
- it is also home to the various species of exotic flora endemic to the province

- this attraction is well-known to divers
- see the majestic shipwrecks of Japanese fleets used during WW2
- some shipwrecks are submerged and some are shallow enough to be explored by snorkeling
