Community at Batangas State University - Alangilan Campus NATURE OF THE PROBLEM Today’s consumption-driven community produces an enormous amount of waste. Our current culture of consumption is unsustainable. This large amount of waste produce in every single student puts huge pressures on the university to manage waste in a more sustainable manner. A strategic zero waste concept is essential for developing and executing systematic waste management activities to achieve the goal which is the zero waste university.
