Microsoft PowerPoint is a professional presentation program that allows the user to


create "presentation slides" that can be displayed on the computer screen or through a
projector that is plugged into the computer.

We have many ways to open PowerPoint program, One of the ways:

POWERPOINT HOME TAB. The Home Tab is used to perform many of the
common tasks such as changing fonts, cutting and pasting text and images into
presentations, changing paragraph formats, drawing objects, and editing text.
Insert 5

The Insert tab contains various items that you may want to insert into a document.
These items include such things as tables, word art, hyperlinks, symbols, charts,
signature line, date & time, shapes, header, footer, text boxes, links, boxes, equations
and so on.
Design 6

This tab is used to apply a design to a PowerPoint presentation. It is also possible to


make changes to the slide size, slide background, and other design attributes.
Transition 7

A slide transition is the visual effect that occurs when you move from one slide to the
next during a presentation. You can control the speed, add sound, and customize the
look of transition effects.
Animation 8

On the Animations tab, in the Advanced Animation group, click Animation Pane. The
Animation Pane opens on the side of the workspace pane, showing the order, type,
and duration of animation effects applied to text or objects on a slide.
