 INTRODUCTION

Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne

disease that occurs in tropical and
subtropical areas of the world.
 THE BENEFICIARIES:
 Person – to know that the medicinal plants in particular
oregano can be made as a mosquito repellent and also for
protection.
 Asthmatic Person – the oregano plant is helpful to the
asthmatic person because it can strengthen our respiratory
system.
 Department of Health (DOH) – if this study was been proven
it can lessen the rate of dengue in the country which
involved in our health.
 OREGANO
A bushy perennial mint (Origanum vulgare)
with leaves that are used as a seasoning and a
source of aromatic oil.
called also origanum, wild marjoram.

 Oregano
 Candle
 Alcohol
 Starch
 Water
 EQUIPMENTS
 Blender
 Microwave
 Bowls
 Foil
 PROCEDURE
1. Separate fresh leaves from the stem and put it in the
blender and add water.
2. Pulverize the dried leaves.
3. Grind the candle.
4.Mix all the ingredients together.
5. After mixing, mold it like a mosquito coil, cover it with coil.
6. After molding, put it on the oven for 20 minutes.
 CONCLUSION
The oregano solution (mosquito
repellent) is effective in preventing
the mosquitos to bite the person.
