Introduction

• Life Blood is a website which unites all the donors and blood
seekers at one place.

• In this project we are going to build a web site which performs

several tasks for the above purpose.

• It also helps to register the details of donors, blood collection details

as well as blood issued reports.

• The main aim of making this project is to save blood bank details at
one point so that we can use them in an immediate situation and
save life.
Existing System

• In existing system, the blood bank management system exhibited at

a lot of ineffectiveness and inefficiency that had fetched impact
taken by management.

• The system which was manual that is based on paper card to collect
blood donor data, keep record of blood donors and disseminate
results to blood donors, had weakness that needed IT based
solutions.

• The system was characterized by delays and sometimes failure to

access historical records; errors were witnessed in entry and manual
analysis of results, secrecy and confidentiality of records lacked
because unauthorized persons could easily access the records.
Problem With Existing System

• Without integrating the blood banks will lead to time consuming

while searching of a particular group of blood.

• Without having proper information, it is very difficult to supply the

blood to the required people.

• Information sharing is not possible among blood banks, hospitals

about the required blood group in the case of emergency.
Proposed System
• The proposed Blood Bank management system helps the people who are in need of a
blood by giving them all details of blood group availability or regarding the donors with
the same blood group. Our website work 24x7 so user can get information of blood
donor any time. Blood donor can also get registered and save life of another person.
When blood is need in the operation then people have very less time to get the blood
available so if he gets the information like who can give him blood in time in his city is
lifesaving.

• Easy to handle.
• Reduce the time spend on the paperwork
Architecture of Project
Admin
• Admin can update the Profile at any time.
• Admin Who takes care of the website and mange the account.
Admin can Add and Show the information about the Hospital,
donor, seekers, etc...

User
• Get the information about where he can get the required blood.
• Can register if he/she wants to donate.
• Hospital can also register its blood bank.
• User can also contact admin for any query or information.

 Waterfall Methodology

• The Waterfall method is a traditional approach to project

management.

• The stages of Waterfall project management generally follow this

sequence.

• Sequence - Requirements > Analysis > Design > Construction >

Testing > Deployment & maintenance

• In future, we will make this website more user friendly with the help
of Artificial Intelligence.

• In future we will expand our network to the country as well as world

level.

• In future we will organize blood donation events by ourselves.

• In future, we will also add options to donate body parts.

Conclusion

• Today the world is become a global village where every thing is

online.

• There are so many web based solutions provided in the market for
the comfort of the people.

• But without blood human being is non living, just by providing the
web solution of blood bank management information system is just
one more step in order to serve the mankind
