What is Basic Business Idea?

In practical situation it is seen that an

entrepreneur finds it rather convenient to think
of product, keeping in view the immediate
future rather than the long term goals. Business
atmosphere being what it is with all its
intendants, uncertainties, it is more likely to
face a serious problem either when he wants to
expect or when the first product meets with a
failure.
It is logical, therefore to think of a goal for the
unit in the long run rather than to look for the
immediate tomorrow. This long term thinking is
called Basic Business Idea.
