Work in the engine room
ƥ Many type of work associated with painting.
ƥ In the engine room I was painting main and auxiliary
machinery, separators, pumps, system pipes and
another equipment.
ƥ Also I give maintenance and repairing practise. I helped
second engineer to fix cylinder head, high pressure fuel
pumps and nozzle.
ƥ Like all practicant in the engine room I cleaned separator
plates and changed filters.
ƥ In the engine room I work 8 hours per day.
ƥ Work timetable from 12- 12- 16 hourƞs day, and night from
24h to 4 hourƞs morning.

Work on the deck
ƥ Firstly I work in moorage operation, so I give a
very good team work skills.
ƥ Secondly, like in the engine room, many type of
work associated with cleaning and painting. I
painted deck, hold, cranes, and another
equipment on the deck.
ƥ Also I work in the hold. I separeted fish box and
safe from Nigerian peopleƞs.
ƥ When was loaded and unloaded works, I work in
the hold 8 over 8 hours. At the normal day I
work from 8h morning to 17h day.

Finally
ƥ In my opinion, this practise give me invaluable
experience in mechanic field.
ƥ After this practise I understand that mechanic
work is very hard and responsible. Mechanic
work require high level knowledge.
ƥ Work in the engine room give me very good
experience about my profession and real
mechanic skills which is very important in the
future. I have a chance to use my theorical
knowledge and apply in real situations.
