If a player stays in the
shaded area for more than
3 seconds without moving
or shooting attempt, he
will be called with a 3
second violation.
24-second shot clock violation
This is called the 24-
second shot clock
violation. If the team does
not attempt a shot within
24 seconds they will be
called with this violation.
Intentional foot ball
