signages or signals?” “to guide us in our daily travels sir”

“very good! We need signals for us to be guided.


Ganoon din sa sports. Kailangan ng isang guide
para malaro ang sport ng tama. Just imagine ang
isang basketball game na walang official, magulo di
ba? Lalo na at walang gusting matalong team, at
kadalasan, nauuwi sa suntukan o sikuhan.”

Panuorin natin ang isang video clip ng isang lugar


dito sa Pilipinas na naglalaro ng basketball.

Very good observation! Magulo ang laro, kasi sari-


sarili ang tawag at ang kabilang team ay ayaw
naman magpatalo kaya nauuwi sa init ng ulo.

“I know that you have watched or played


basketball, kaya may idea kayo sa mga violations
sa sports. Minsan nga, galit nag alit pa kayo sa
referee dahil hindi natawagan yung violation.
Tama ba ko?

Ngayon may ipapakita akong video sa inyo, sabihin
ninyo sa akin kung anong violation ng player.

Very good! This is travelling! Paano i-perform ang


travelling? (student demonstrates violation but rotates the
hand too much.)
Excellent but I think this is the correct way to
perform the hand signal in TRAVELLING.
(teacher demonstrates -STOP the CLOCK for
violation – then the hand signal of travelling.)

violation, sa Ilocano ito yung sinasabing nangitlog.

This is how you perform the hand signal

Very good! This is called the 24-second shot clock


violation. If the team does not attempt a shot
within 24 seconds they will be called with this
violation.

Nice idea! Pero ang tawag sa violation na yan ay


intentional foot ball. Kapag sinadyang sinipa ang “KICKING SIR!”
bola upang hindi makuha ng kabilang team ang
possession.

Alam kong usong-uso ang tiktok ngayon, kaya


naman let us integrate tiktok dances in our hand
signals. Sabayan ninyo ako.
