Introduction
Today in modern era people use diesel JCB but in this time student
make Hydraulic JCB. Which was movement with the Hydraulic
Pressure. It was without Pollution. In little model student use
injection. It fill injection with the water which is join with the help
of a pipe another injection.
Then after it became movement.
The Robotic Manipulator Arm extends the flexibility of workstations by
transporting material more efficiently and quickly between worktable,
peripheral devices and assembly lines etc. A sub class of more general
family of Robots, the Industrial Robots. An industrial robot is officially
defined by ISO as an automatically controlled, reprogrammable,
multipurpose manipulator programmable in three or more axes.

Means Of Backhoe-
• A backhoe, also called a rear actor or back actor, is a
piece of excavating equipment or digger consisting of a
digging bucket on the end of a two-part arm. They are
typically mounted on the back of a tractor or
front loader, the latter forming a 'backhoe loader’.The
section of the arm closest to the vehicle is known as
the boom, and the section which carries the bucket is
known as the dipper or dipper-stick , terms derived
from steam shovels). The boom is generally attached to
the vehicle through a pivot known as the king-post,
which allows the arm to pivot left and right, usually
through a total of around 180–200 degrees.

History-
• Early Development occur in US and UK.
• First backhoe developed in July 1947 by Vaino J.
Holopainen and Roy E. Handy.
• In April 1948 Wain-Roy Corporation sold the very first
all hydraulic backhoe, mounted to a Ford Model 8N
tractor, to the Connecticut Light and Power Company.
Aim Of The Project-
• The main aim of our project is to build a
hydraulic arm that can carry things.
• We have implemented the hydraulic arm
that can be controlled by gesture
commands.
• We have proposed a simple algorithm for
hand controlling.
Working Principle-
• Pascal’s law
• Hydraulic Pressure and forces.
Pascal’s Law-
• Pascal's Law comprises a set of principles
formulated in 1648 and states that “ the
pressure applied on a confined fluid at any
point is transmitted undiminished
throughout the fluid in all directions and
acts upon every points of the confining
vessel at right angles equally upon equal
areas.”
• This is the basic principle behind any
hydraulic system - pressure applied
anywhere to a body of fluid causes a force to
be transmitted equally in all directions, with
the force acting at right angles to any surface
in contact with the fluid.
Hydraulic pressure and forces-
• Pressure is the force per unit area
exerted on a surface, divided by the area
of that surface.
• Pressure = Force/Surface Area
• Therefore hydraulic pressure is the force per
unit area exerted by a fluid on the surface
within the container.
Materials used –
• Plywood
• Syringes
• DC Motor(30 rpm)
• Tubes
• Bolts and Nuts
• Battery(12 V)
• Fluid(water)
Costing-

As per as our costing information is

concerned , the overall expenses on making
this project may be near about ₹ 3500 /-
Advantages-
• Ease and accuracy of control.
• Multiplication of force.
• Constant force and torque.
• Simple, safe and economical moving
parts in comparison with mechanical and
electrical systems. Thus they become
simpler and easier to maintain.
• Cost is low.
• Simplicity and easy to repair and Design..
Applications of Backhoe-
• Used in Road Construction .
• For digging purposes of
road,subway,underground constuctions.
• For waste management system.
• For digging the roots of trees.
• For destroying illegal constructions.
Safety and Precautions-
• When pressing on the syringe system, be
sure to press only the input plunger with
your thumb and hold the output syringe
with your other hand to prevent the
syringe from separation.
• Do not use syringe as a “squirt gun”.
• Wear safety glasses.
• Follow all normal laboratory rules.
Future Scope-
• If more time and more efforts would have been
put into the model, more complexity could have
been brought out.
• Moreover instead of manual operation of syringes
could have been replaced by pre-defined
computer program or merely by pressing switch
operated.
• Further more varieties and more flexibility to add
or replace any part according to the requirements
can be done to improve its use and increase field
of usage and to make it more universal or flexible
Conclusion-
• The prepared mechanism has been
successfully constrained and executed to
carry out the required work of digging
and lifting up the weight of the object
and to put them in to the placed at
different location.
