Definition of centrifugal force:
the apparent force that is felt by an object moving in a curved
path that acts outwardly away from the center of rotation.

The centrifugal force acting on a
vehicle negotiating a horizontal curve
has two effects:
1) Tendency to overturn the vehicle outwards about the outer
wheels.
2) Tendency to skid the vehicle laterally.
