attention getter

At the attention getter part I will introduce the spesific topic that will
discussed in the main body paragraph and the background of the
problems. Then I will give you some brief definition about the
biotechnology and inform the people/group affected by the problems.
2
Section 1-Problems
 Problem#1-Prevent hunger: Biotechnology is key
If African countries can’t plant genetically modified
crops to produce more and healthier food, vulnerable
populations will be at risk, argues Calestous Juma(2011).

 Problem#2-Tumor, Viruses, Bacteria in developing country

Tara Acharya:”The fight to improve global health needs, in addition to effective public
health measures, requires rapid and efficient diagnostic tools; new vaccines and
drugs, efficient delivery methods and novel approaches to therapeutics;and low-cost
restoration of water, soil and other natural resources”(2004).

Section 2-Solutions
 Solution#1-Biotechnology employed GM-crops which
is more productive, helping to feed the next billion
people.
In the 21st century, biotechnology has been utilized as one of the eco-
techno-political technologies available to meet the needs of the
growing population. Many countries have developed technological
strategies in order to improve their productivity in different fields.(Taheri
et al., 2017)

 Solution#2-Rapid and precise development

and manufacturing of medicine and
Thesevaccines.
10 biotechnologies have been mapped onto the
United Nations Millennium Development Goals to
provide a compelling illustration of the potential impact
of this exciting new field of science on development
(Acharya et al. 2003).
