DELONIX REGIA

Delonix regia, the flame tree, is a species of flowering plant in the bean


family Fabaceae , subfamily Caesalpinioideae. It is noted for its fern-like
leaves and flamboyant display of flowers. In many tropical parts of the
world it is grown as an ornamental tree and in English it is given the
name royal poinciana or flamboyant. It is also one of several trees known
as "flame tree".

Peltophorum pterocarpum (commonly known as copperpod, yellow-

TAMARINDUS INDICA

Tamarind (Tamarindus indica) is a leguminous tree in


the family Fabaceae indigenous to tropical Africa. The
genus Tamarindus is a monotypic taxon, having only a single species.
The tamarind tree produces pod-like fruit, which contain an edible pulp
that is used in cuisines around the world. Other uses of the pulp include

SENNA ALATA
Senna alata is an important medicinal tree, as well as an
ornamental flowering plant in the subfamily Caesalpinioideae. It also
known as emperor's candlesticks,[candle bush, candelabra
bush, Christmas candles, empress candle plant, ringworm shrub.

ZINGIBER ZERUMBET
Zingiber zerumbet (awapuhi), also known as bitter ginger, shampoo
ginger (Malay = lempoyang) or pinecone ginger, is a vigorous species of
the ginger family with leafy stems growing to about 1.2 m (3.9 ft) tall. It is
found in many tropical countries. The rhizomes of Z. zerumbet have been
used as food flavoring and appetizers in various cuisines while the
rhizome extracts have been used in herbal medicine.

Justicia adhatoda, commonly known in English as Malabar nut, adulsa, adhatoda, vasa, or vasaka,
is a medicinal plant native to Asia, widely used in Siddha Medicine, Ayurvedc, homeopathy

LANTANA
- Lantana is a genus of about 150 species of perennial flowering plants in
the verbena family, Verbenaceae.
- They are native to tropical regions of the Americas and Africa but exist as an introduced
species in numerous areas, especially in the Australian-Pacific region.
- The genus includes both herbaceous plants and shrubs growing to 0.5–2 m (1.6–6.6 ft) tall.
Their common names are shrub verbenas or lantanas. The generic name originated
in Late Latin, where it refers to the unrelated Viburnum lantana. Lantana's

Parthenocissus tricuspidata is a flowering plant in the grape family (Vitaceae)
native to eastern Asia in Japan, Korea, and northern and eastern China. Although
unrelated to true ivy, it is commonly known as Boston ivy, grape ivy,

JASMINUM
Jasmine (taxonomic name Jasminum /ˈjæsmɪnəm/) is
a genus of shrubs and vines in the olive family (Oleaceae). It contains around
200 species native to tropical and warm temperate regions of Eurasia,
Australasia and Oceania. Jasmines are widely cultivated for the characteristic

SYZYAIUM CUMINI

Syzygium cumini, commonly known as jambolan,  Java plum or black plum,[is an


evergreen tropical tree in the flowering plant family Myrtaceae. It is native to
the Indian Subcontinent, adjoining regions of Southeast Asia, China
and Queensland. The name of the fruit is sometimes mistranslated as blackberry,
which is a different fruit in an unrelated family. Syzygium cumini has been spread
overseas from India by Indian emigrants and at present is common in former tropical
British colonies.
