Mi name is Mariana Lopera Arango

Christmas is perhaps the most important date for our family, it is

here where we have the opportunity to meet with siblings,
nephews, cousins and some neighbors, the appointment is at
Grandma Concha's house as she is affectionately known, she is
the engine of all of us, she is the most beautiful and loving
grandmother in the world, and she is happy to see us all together
especially my son Santiago who is her favorite grandson.
It is the most awaited date by millions of families around the world, it is the

time to share with family members that you may not have seen in person and

wish to hug and congratulate, it is a date to give thanks for another year

together, to give thanks for the blessings received and to be reunited

considering the hard times we are going through because of the COVID.
 It is a date in which many things must be prepared, space, food, gifts, drinks among others, what
we have clear is the meeting place and it has always been and will be at Grandma Concha's house,
that is why two or three months before we go to Grandma's house and paint and redecorate, she
always says yes to this, because for her the most important thing is to see us all together. My son
Santiago loves his grandmother and she always welcomes him with sweets and cookies. It is a date
in which many things must be prepared, space, food, gifts, drinks among others, what we have

One of the most awaited moments of the night will always be

the delivery of gifts, both young and old enjoy this activity.

However, not everyone is satisfied with their gifts. The burning

of gunpowder is always guided by an adult who helps to

regulate that there is no accident for the children.
