STRESS IS GOOD
Is stress really good for you? Can it bring the
best out of you?
• Before you even start writing, remember what you have learnt. Will agreeing to the
statement enables me to generate more content points or the opposite?
• The best way to decide your next course of action is to do a mind map.
• List all possible points you may think off. Both for Agreeing and Disagreeing.
• Next, determine whether those points are contents of mere additional points.
• Now, see how many contents you managed to create.
• Decide which option is best. If you think both are equally weighted, then partial
agreeing is the best solution
THESIS STATEMENT
• Thesis statement is important when you write an essay.
• Your stand is much more important than the previous. (Thesis Statement)
• If you plan to go ahead with agreeing to the statement given, then you need to
compose a sentence depicting you are positive above the statement. If you
plan the opposite, then make sure you write contrastingly.
• You can write your stand in 1 sentence and Thesis in the other. Do not make
life difficult for you. Write a simple but concrete and profound stand which is
easily understood by the examiners.

With very limited time but the never ending tasks keep on merging, life
can be quite stressful. Actually, stress is an opportunity to bring the best in
one’s life.
• It is obvious to me that I will support to the statement given because stress
makes us stronger, be able to decide better and also improves our health.
• Let me explain in detail about it.

• Using low frequency words is always a plus point.
Topic sentence1: MAKES US STRONGER
• Enduring a stressful situation actually make us stronger physically and mentally.
• When we are under stress, our body and mind stay alert and active. At times, we are unable to sweep
our problems under the carpet.
• For example, as a student, stress in education and our personal live can take its toll. Assignments due
date and examinations are unavoidable. To make matter worse, spending more time on them can leave
us with no time for leisure. But, that does not deter us. Moreover, no matter how hard it gets, we always
strive to overcome it without giving up. We give our best to accomplish our tasks and balance it with our
personal life. As you confront different situations and overcome various problems, you train yourself to
deal with similar incidents in the future. It is an experience and each day, we become stronger and
stronger.
• When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
Topic sentence 2: BE ABLE TO DECIDE BETTER

• Think and then decide is a good policy. Stress helps you do that because you will think
what is best for you.
• When we are stressed, we try to figure out the best possible way to overcome our stress
by coming up with the best decision at that time since students have limited time.
• Accomplishing many tasks in limited time is unavertable or near impossible. We tend to
priorities our choices. Preparing a workable timetable provide a timely solution. We sit
and think what needs to be done first or at utmost important. That shows stress forced us
do a better planning to and mange time well too.
• Decision taken, most of the time, will always be successful.
Topic sentence 3: BENEFICIAL TOWARDS HEALTH

• Many of us think stress is detrimental for our health. Believe it or not, stress can actually
improve our immune system or beneficial towards our health.
• What’s interesting about low doses of the stress hormone is that it helps protect us from
infections. Moderate stress stimulates the production of a chemical called interleukins and
gives the immune system a quick boost to protect against illnesses.
• Not only that. a study found that babies born to women who experienced mild to moderate
stress during pregnancy had more advanced early developmental skills by the age of 2 than
babies born to unstressed mothers.
• So, the next time you experience a shock to the system and your stress level elevates,
remember this benefit.
Conclusion
• In a nutshell, now, you may have wanted to bottle up all stress and toss it
into a fiery pit.
• Now that you’re aware of the surprising benefits of stress, remember that
it can be a friend you didn’t know you wanted. The key is identifying
good stress from bad stress. As long as it’s not chronic, stress can be a
positive addition to your life.
• Therefore I would like to reaffirm my stand that stress can bring out the
best out of you.
