INTRODUCTION
FOURIER SERIES
An infinite series in which the terms are constants multiplied by sine or cosine
functions of integer multiples of the variable and which is used in the analysis of
periodic functions is known as Fourier series.
In mathematics, a Fourier series is a periodic function composed of
harmonically related sinusoids combined by a weighted summation. With
appropriate weights, one cycle of the summation can be made to approximate an
arbitrary function in that interval. As such, the summation is a synthesis of
another function.
FOURIER SERIES FORMULAE
Fourier series makes use of the orthogonal relationships of the cosine and sine
functions. Fourier series formula for a function is given as,
