DESCRIPTIONS
Executive Housekeeper
 Supervises all housekeeping
employees,
 has the authority to hire or discharge,
 give training for newly recruited
employees,
 plans and assigns work assignments,
 audit and inspects housekeeping
personal work assignment and
requisition supplies.
 Take care of the budget and budget
controlling for the department
ROOMSKEEPING
PERSONNEL
Roomskeeping Supervisor
BASIC DUTIES:
 plans, organizes, directs and monitors
rooms maintenance activities
 insures consistent compliance to
prescribed rooms keeping standard,
procedures and policies.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
 conducts routine inspection to check the
quality of room make up
 Checks room status during room check,
prepares and disseminates room status
report to the Front Desk and to the room
attendant
 Looks after the proper use, storage and
maintenance of housekeeping tools and
supplies
 Regularly checks the condition and
maintenance of equipment. Have them
cleaned regularly; initiates service request
for defective items
 Checks and maintains par stock. Makes
requisition whenever needed.
 Initiates and supervises the weekly
inventory of room supplies and other
housekkeping items.
 Reports to management all unusual
incidents and accidents in guestrrom and
other related areas of responsibility
 Trains,coaches and supervises room boys
and chambermaids
 Monitors and evaluates the performance of
room maintenance staff
 Personally attends to very important guests
or VIP
 Attends to guest complaints, inquiries and
requests

BACIS FUNCTION:
 attends to the maintenance and
upkeep of all guestrooms and
service areas assigned to him/her.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
 Looks after the maintenance of cleanliness,
orderliness and sanitation in his assinged
guestroom
 Looks after the proper use, maintnance and
storage of cleaning equipment. Reports
damages to supervisor for corrective action.
 Attends to the needs and additional request of
house guest
 Reports all guest complaints and unusual
incidents, including unauthorized entry of
suspicious persons in guestroom an guest
who are sick or in critical condition
 Reports and surrenders all lost and found
items to supervisor
 Assist in the inventory of guestroom supplies
and linens
 Prepares and submits daily accomplishments
and concumption report to his/her supervisor
 Assist supervisor in conducting room check
 Conducts fumigation of assinged guestroom
as needed
 Performs the dutied of a mini bar attendant if
there is no one aasigned to do the job
Mini Bar Runner/Attendant
BASIC FUNCTION:
 attend to mini-bar installation,
replenishment, inventory
taking, stocking requisition
and other related functions
SPECIFIC DUTIES
 Maintains par stock of mini bar items; initiates
requisition to replenish used stocks
 Records mini bar consumption per room,
prepares a sales and inventory report. Also
double checks the expiration dates of
perishable items
 Promtly prepares billing of mini bar
consumption giving priority to rooms
occupied by guest who are about to check out
within the day
 Collects empty or consumed mini-bar bottles,
cans etc.
PUBLIC AREA PERSONNEL
Public Area Supervisor
 direct and control all activities
concerning public area maintenance
and to ensure conformity to
prescribed housekeeping standards
and policies

 attend to the upkeep and
maintenance of cleanliness and
orderliness in public areas
assigned to him.
Gardener and grounds maintenance

 responsible for maintaning the
grounds including plants and
landscapes
Pest control technician
 attend to the prevention and
control of pests through preventive
and corrective measures
LINEN & LAUNDRY
PERSONNEL
Linen and laundry
supervisor
 direct, lead, monitor and control all
activities relating to the linen and
laundry service
Linen attendant
 responsible for the storage and
issuance of employees uniforms,
linens, cleaning supplies as well as
guestroom amenities
Laundry attendant/ Washer (Guest
laundry Items)
 responsible for washing and
extracting, drying of all guest
laundry items
Laundry attendant/ Washer (Linens)
 responsible for washing, extracting
and drying of al Housekeeping linens
such as towels, bed sheets, pillow
cases etc. And also linens used for
dining and banquet functions.
Valet Runner
 responsible for the pick up and
delivery of laundry items of guest and
also those for house use.
Flatwork Ironer / wrangler
 responsible for ironing of linen items
in the flatwork machine following the
standard procedures.
Seamstress
 handles sewing or mending of guest
room linens as well as those used for
banquet and food service operations.
