Football, often known as soccer, is a sport in which two teams of 11
players compete to get the ball into the other team's goal without using
their hands or arms. So football specifically, um, the opposite team is

measures 100 to 130 yards (90-120 meters) in length and 50 to 100
yards (45-90 meters) in width. The field measurements for international
play are slightly tighter, with a length of 110 to 120 yards (100 - 110m)
and a width of 70 to 80 yards (64 - 75m). Another criterion is that the
length must be greater than the breadth, therefore a square field of 100
yards by 100 yards is not possible. Despite the fact that these are the
legal guidelines, many children's soccer games are played on fields that
are even smaller than the minimum. Although the length and breadth of
the field are changeable, the size of other portions of the field is normally
set.
