MAJOR CHANGES:
Madan Mohan Malaviya founded Banaras Hindu University at varanasi in
1916, which was created under B.H.U. Act, 1915,to promote mordern
education among Hindus.
In 1859, Syed established gulshan school at Murdabad, Victoria School at
Ghazipur in 1863, and a scintific society for muslims in 1864. In 1875,
founded the Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College, the first Muslim
university in South Asia.
