 Introduction
Sudha Murthy (born 19 August 1950) is an Indian
businesswoman, educator, author and philanthropist
who is the chairperson of the Infosys Foundation. She
is a firm supporter to the co-founder of Infosys, N. R.
Narayana Murthy. Murthy was awarded the Padma
Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in India, for
social work by the Government of India in 2006.

 Summary
An eminent writer in English and Kannada, Sudha Murthy is a Social
Worker. She has worked with many organizations for the welfare of the
common man. She was the first female engineer in a man-only tech
world hired by India's largest auto manufacturer TELCO, now Tata
Motors.

Mrs. Murthy is also famous for many philanthropist works. She aims to
empower women. She also spreads the awareness of rural education,
public hygiene, poverty alleviation and much more. Being an author, she
has published many stories. Her writings have a flavor of common lives.

From the start of her education, she had won many prestigious awards.
She won the Padma Shri and obtained a doctorate for her publications.
She also received the Life Time Achievement Award at the Crossword-
Raymond Book Awards in 2018.
