ENVIRONMENTAL CLEARANCE:
Environmental Clearance is a permit issued by the  regulatory
authority for allowing development of  certain types of
projects/ activities 

ENVIRONMENTAL CLEARANCE IN INDIA:

• The Environmental Clearance Process in India is governed by


the Environmental Impact Assessment Notification. 
• The first Notification was introduced in 1994. 
• The current active Notification is of 2006.
