Continuous Pickling / Tandem Line

cold reduced in Tandem Mill
under a certain speed and
tension.
Oil on the surfaces of the thin
coils are cleaned before the
annealing process in the
Alkali Cleaning Line.
In the Batch Annealing
Furnaces, the cold reduced
coils are annealed to improve
their microstructural
characteristics.
To improve surface quality
and physical characteristics
of the annealed cold rolled
coils are passed through
Temper Mill.
Cold rolled and tempered
coils are cut to desired length
in Cold Shearing Lines.
In Cold Rolling Mill No.II, hot
rolled coils are pickled and
then cold rolled in the
Continuous Pickling /
Tandem Line.

Pickled and cold rolled coils are

(CAL) and then packaged after
tempering.
Cold Rolled Coils are slit to
required widths in Cold Slitting
Line.
The coils rolled to required
thickness are cleaned,
electroplated with tin or
chromium according to the
desired coating thickness in the
Electrolytic Tinning & TFS Line.
Tin or chromium plated coils
are cut to desired length and
then packaged as tinplate or
TFS sheets.
