most accessible area and its most popular
destination is one that is fondly called the
Summer Capital of the Philippines, “Baguio

Bohol
One of the provinces in Region VII, Bohol is the
destination that offers a variety of tourist activities
spread all over the island. One of Bohol’s famous
landmarks is the chocolate hills, which are hundreds
of mounds of soil that are brown during the dry season
making look like “Hershey’s Kisses” chocolate. The
shores of Panglao Island boast it fine, white sand
while the neighboring Balicasag is ideal for snorkeling
and its diver’s paradise underwater. Though many of
them have been damaged by the earthquake of 2013,
all over Bohol may still find beautiful, old churches
built during the Spanish era.
