Objectives

At the end of the session, the students are expected to:

- identify their values in life;
- classify if these values are good or bad/wrong
- develop a plan if they want to change or continue
bad/wrong and good values
Materials:

-ballpen/pencil
-bond paper
Do you know what is the
meaning of values?
What do you value the most?
Situation: “You are going home that afternoon, and while you
are walking, you notice a big black smoke arising from your
neighborhood. Your heart starts to beat faster because it might be
your house but when one of your neighbors shouted that their
house is on fire, you give a sigh of relief. But your neighbor’s
house is just a few meters away from your house, so you still
have to hurry up and bring out all the important things from
your house. What are the things that you will have to take out
first, and why?”
Processing

1. Did you find it hard to think of the important things

to take out?
2. What made you take out those things?
3. What made you leave the other things behind?
Deepening
Each object has its own value like
the bible signifies spiritual
value. If you help your very old
grandmother out of the house as
an example, then it is a social
and moral value and these
healthy values must be
practiced in your everyday life.
