Introduction
“How food color dissolves in different temperatures of water”

This research is important because it tells them on which temperature of water will the food color dissolves
the fastest. This research is a good example for comparing things, Describing and observing them. Solubility
of water is the ability of a substance, the solute, to form a solution with another substance, the solvent.
Solubility is defined as the maximum amount of a substance that will dissolve in a given amount of a solvent
at a specified temperature. Comparison can help you set realistic goals. Comparisons are a normal part of
human cognition and can be good for the self- improvement process. When you are comparing yourselves to
others, it gets information about what you want and where you want to be. After you get the informations on
what you are comparing, you can answer the question about your comparison. It sharpens minds because
you look for the answers that describes and compares them. Describing, comparing, observing, data making,
and thinking will solve any experiments. The scientific concept in this study, the concept of this research
involves Physical Science, the study of matter and energy. Specifically involving one of its main branches
which is chemistry, the concept of chemistry leads to solubility, which is the ability of the solute to form a
solution with the solvent in chemistry. To further understand solubility, the researchers identified the factors
affecting it like temperature in which is used and tested in our research.
Statement of the problem
This Study will be conducted to determine which temperature
of water will dissolve food coloring faster.
1. In what type of temperature of water would make the food
color dissolve fastest?
a. Hot water (80°C)
B. Tap water
C. Cold water (10°C)
Variables
● IV: Temperatures of water
● DV: Food color dissolves in different temperatures of water
● CV: Water

Hypothesis
If then the food color will dissolve fat in hot water because it has
more energy than cold water and tap water
Methods
The materials needed for this Process
research are: ● First, prepare the materials
● 3 Graduated cylinder (100 ml) ● Then, after preparing the
● 3 Beakers (300 ml) materials start putting water in a
● 10 ml beaker graduated cylinder. Measure
● about 300 ml per graduated
Dropper
cylinder.
● Hot plate ● After pouring the water in every
● Food color beakers, pour a 2 ml food color
● Water in each water and observe them
● Thermometer while observing the experiment
and record.
● Lastly check the results and
confirm the conclusion
Results
It takes 6 minutes
for cold water to
dissolve the food
color, 58 seconds
for hot water to
dissolve the food
color and 1
minute for tap
water to dissolve
Cold water: 6 minutes
Tap water: 1 minute
Hot water: 58 seconds
THANK YOU!
This is the end of our
presentation.
