PILOT CLASS

ORIENTATION

WHEN WILL THE PILOT CLASSES BE
HELD?
 FYP – April 17 to 28

 Gr7&8 – Target: April 25 to May 6


WHO MAY PARTICIPATE? WHAT ARE THE
REQUIREMENTS?
 Consent waiver form
 Vaccination card
 Medical certificate (for dormers only)
 Written permission to commute for externs.
 Health Declaration
 Send soft copies of requirement to the pilot class
subject teacher or bring the physical copy to class.
ARE STUDENTS WITH COMORBIDITIES ALLOWED
TO JOIN THE PILOT CLASS?
 Students with comorbidities such as
but not limited to asthma and obesity
are not allowed to participate in pilot
classes. (Unless cleared by the family
doctor.)
WHAT HEALTH SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WERE TAKEN
FOR THE PILOT CLASS?
100% Vaccination Teachers and Staff.

Wash stations all over campus.

Alcohol stations.

Air Filters with UV

Health and Safety Protocols


WHAT WILL BE DONE IF THERE IS A STUDENT
WITH COVID-LIKE SYMPTOMS?
 Students with covid-like symptoms should not proceed to
school.
While at school, students will be monitored by teachers.

 Students who are at school and exhibit covid-like symptoms


will be sent to the Health Services Unit for assessment and
action.
 Isolation facilities are available for students staying in the
dormitories.
CAN STUDENTS STAY IN THE DORMITORIES?
Students may apply to stay in the dorms for the duration of the pilot class.

Priority will be given to students living out Metro Manila.

Dormers may only leave the campus during weekends or when their parents fetch
them.
 Extern students are not allowed in the dormitories.
Extern students are allowed to commute with written consent from parents

 Students may do physical exercise and play in the field just keep observing health
safety protocols.
ARE THERE FOOD/SNACKS AVAILABLE IN THE
CAMPUS?
Food service is available from the
concessionaires.
Food delivery are also allowed.

 Students should dine in the designated dining areas


and not in the gazebos where they tend to clump up
without mask while eating. (Be reminded that we
are not members of the same household.)
HOW LONG ARE THE CLASSES?
 Depends on the class i.e. laboratory class
Students can stay in assigned classrooms for their sync classes.

Students may only come to school on student that they have schedule
pilot class. No loitering.
Can students come to school at an earlier time? 7am at the earliest.

 Parents are allowed to stay in campus at the gazebo area but they
would have to park outside at the front of the campus.
Students can use all facilities that are not in renovation like the library.
WHAT SHOULD THE STUDENTS WEAR?
Students should keep their mask on allthe time and bring
sanitation kits like alcohol.
School uniform/ dengue uniform/white collared shirt khaki pants/
proper attire.
 Closed footwear is allowed like rubber shoes.
 Bring your old IDs or other IDs for identification upon entrance.
Only students on the list of students allowed on campus may enter.
No strict haircut for the pilot class.
WHAT ADVANTAGES ARE GIVEN TO STUDENTS
ATTENDING PILOT CLASS?
 None because Pisay Scholars simply love learning.
 No additional points for attending pilot class. Pilot
class are to done to add value to student learning
specially with hands on class like laboratories.
Sync classes are not affected by pilot classes.
