These innovations cater to the needs of


the people that benefit the most out of ICT.
Whether it is for business for personal use,
these trends are the current front runners in
the innovation of ICT.
1.CONVERGENCE
TECHNOLOGICAL CONVERGENCE
is the synergy of technological advancements
to work on a similar goal or task.
Convergence is considered a new trend
because technological capabilities were only
recently established to allow for cheaper and
widespread implementation.
2. SOCIAL MEDIA
is a website, application, or online channel
that enables web users to create, co create,
discuss, modify and exchange user – generated
content.
A. SOCIAL NETWORKS
These are the sites that allow you to connect
with other people with the same interest or
background.
B. BOOKMARKING SITES
These are the sites that allow you to
store and manage links to various website
and resources.

These are the sites that allow you to post
their own news items or links to other
news resources.
D. MEDIA SHARING
These are the sites that allow you to
upload and share media content like
images, music and video.
E. MICROBLOGGING
These are the sites that focus on short
updates from the user.
Those subscribed to the user will be
able to receive these updates.
F. BLOGS AND FORUMS
These websites allows user s to put
their content.
Other users are able to comment on the
said topic.

Mobile technology is a form
of technology that is mostly used in cellular
communication and other related aspects.
It uses a form of platform where by many
transmitters have the ability to send data at the
same time on a single channel.

developed by Apple Inc. exclusively for its
hardware.
