Step 2 Viewing the Management Zones in the Map View

Step 4 Conversion of polygon themes to polyline

ArcToolbox Tool

To convert polygons to line, go to “ArcToolbox”, then to your “Data


Management Tools”, select “Features, then from Features select the tool
for “Feature to Line”

For this particular exercise we will just be concentrating for one feature
line, but you could also segment all the line features.

In order to extract the selected line feature, right click the line feature
(pulag zone line), then select “data”, then click export data in order to
create a new feature line to work with.

exported data to the layers as well as
to appear in the view frame.
Step 7 New feature line to be working with line segments

From your Layers select the feature (zone line 1) then right click, then
go to “Edit Features”, then select “Start Editing” command so as to
manipulate the feature.

Step 8 Segmenting of lines
Select “Split into COGO lines”

Make sure that your line


feature is selected and or
highlighted.

Select the line feature (zone line 1) then right click, then select “Open
Attribute Table”.
