Step 1 Add all thematic data to the View Frame

Click the “Add Data”


button then select all
thematic data needed
in order to view in the
“View Frame”.

After adding all the


thematic data from
your file, the themes
will all appear to the
Layer View of the
View Frame.
Step 2 Geoprocessing of thematic data

From the Menu Bar Select


Geoprocessing, then Select “Union”

After selecting the Union


Command, a Union prompt
will appear
Step 3 Union of thematic data
Input one feature at a time, and a
maximum of two themes per union

The two themes


will appear for
Union process.

Select where
to file your
processed
data.

Then click
“OK”
Step 4 Union of thematic data

This is the result of the Union


of two themes, both
attributes of the two themes
were already present in the
table attribute.

Then the result of the first


Union should also be
integrated to the next
thematic data, then do the
same process for the
succeeding remaining
thematic data until all of
these themes were already
unified into one theme.
Step 5 Result of the Union of thematic data

This is the result of the Union of all


thematic data, the table below shows
all attributes that comprises all of the
thematic layers

Open the “Table

Input 10 for Precision
Select “Add Input 2 for Scale
Field”
Type in
“Average”

Step 7 Result of the Calculation of the Field Attributes for the
said area

The Table above showing the output of the Average value


for each of the field, these values would be useful in the
designation and or determination of what management
zones will be applicable in each of the land mapping
units/resource mapping units (LMU/RMU).

Step 1 Union of thematic data using Model Builder

Click “ArcToolbox”

Click “Model Builder”

Click Analysis Tools,


then select “Overlay”,
then drag “Union” tool
inside the “Model
Builder Box”.

Click Union and drag


here.
Step 2 Union of thematic data using Model Builder

Select 2 layers
(thematic data) for
integration.

Select Folder
where to file the
Double click integrated data.
“Union” tool.
Step 3 Connecting Union themes for integration of all the
thematic data

Drag again the


“Union” tool to the
Model Builder box.

Use the connector icon, in order to connect “1.shp to Union 2”, then
double click Union (2) to input feature (thematic data) to be integrated.
Then proceed to the other thematic data using the same procedure
until all themes are already incorporated to the flow.
