HISTORY OF SAN MANUEL HIGH SCHOOL
• Tracing back its history, it was first conceived from the ORATA proposal in
the creating of barangay high schools in the entire archipelago. Through
the joint efforts of the local government officials and barangay officials
SAN MANUEL EXPERIMENTAL HIGH SCHOOL was established in 1967 to
accommodate its enrollees of less than 100 first year students, resources
locally utilized for teachers’ salaries and other operating expenses.
• Enrollment rates increased until it was able to complete the year levels 1
to 4 and became a full-pledged San Manuel Barangay High School.
• It was made known patronized by enrollees from adjacent barangays
from nearby communities in the municipalities of Victoria, Lapaz and
Tarlac.
