MANGO’S COMPANY PROFILE
Mango was created with the aim of providing clothing for young, urban feminine
market according to the latest fashionable trends in quality garments at a
reasonable price and with the mission of being available worldwide.
To carry out this mission, mango based its business model in three basic aspects:
its people, processes and technology.
These aspects has been key in being able to carry out their international growth
successfully and in being recognized as an example of business success.
“Committed to the Future”
Maria, a knitwear buyer explained how the materials used to make knitwear
garments come from cellulose fibres of traceable and controlled origin.
In addition, Sarah, designer for kids and teen line, presented the cut and sewn
capsule for children and teenagers created from textile remnants.
The Mango Committed collection, that includes garments from different Mango
lines with sustainable characteristics has become a permanent collection of the
firm.
The company notified that 75% of Mango garments are now the part of the
committed collection and the figure is expected to reach to 100% by 2022.

As part of their strategy, Mango also committed to achieve its sustainability goals
of a more ethical and sustainable fashion industry, through initiatives that reduce
its impact on the environment.
The key upgrades of the company this year include the elimination of plastic,
which is being replaced with paper or other materials with a lower environmental
impact.
Also, the progress is made in the traceability and transparency of the value chain,
with the publication of level 2 factories, in addition to level 1 factories that were
published in 2020.
