 Traditional college admission is a hectic process, which
involves students visiting off-site campus, taking
application, filling it and then submission is another
hectic story. 0n the day of admission, the flow of
candidates is very high and it requires both manual
processing and record keeping at the same time that
makes the process lengthy and difficult to keep track of

INTRODUCTION: the admission status of a candidate in multiple

departments. At present admission process is done
manually with pen and paper which is very inefficient
and utilizes much efforts and time. This college
admission management system helps to make the
admission process much easier and helps in maintaining
database in an efficient way. In this system college admin
can add the college details and the stream details.
 The main purpose of this project is to manage all the
processes of admission in a simple and efficient way. It will be
easy for the students to apply in a college. Similarly, the admin
can also go through the application and approve or reject the
DEFINITION: application very easily.

time.

Characteristics
1.Login and Sign up.

2.Different access rights to users (in our case student and admin.

3.Delete and add courses, without going to django admin site.

4.Detailed view of all courses.

Limitations
1.Computer Literacy and Internet Access – In India, though Internet penetration is rather high.

2.Low Computer Literacy – Another major concern is the low rate of computer literacy in
India

3.Requires an active internet connection.

 Conclusion
There will be continuing expansion of digital library activities. LIS and computer science
professionals face challenges that will lead to improved systems. More and more libraries will
have departments and programs in the digital library arena. Digital libraries will build upon work
being done in the information and data management area. Digital libraries provide an effective
means to distribute learning resources to students and other users.
