The Aim of the Diploma Paper
To explore the benefits of extensive reading in English as
foreign language learning in Form 5 on English language
skills.
To study and analyze literature about extensive reading and
to find out evidence that separates extensive reading from the intensive reading.

Riga Secondary School No. 95 - Form 5 - 26 students
Febuary to March 2021
To explore how language and reading skills have improved :
 Observation scale, where performances of the students were graded and
analyzed
 Feedback gained from the students after each activity
 2 students’ development examined specifically
 Questionnaire
Report on book evaluation
Conversation with the teacher/classmate
