FAQ

1. Should the Emiratization percentage apply to all of AW Rostamani's subsidiaries as a group or to each company individually?
• The Emiratization targets are applicable for every subsidiary having a separate trade license.
2. What are the procedures for participation in this project?
• We will open the window for registration on the Nafis digital platform very soon, and you will be the first to be informed on the date
for registration,
3. Who will monitor the quotas in the companies and when will the Ministry calculate the quotas?
• The monitoring of the quotas would be performed by the local human resources authorities
4. Do the salaries of the specialists apply to the current employees or only to the new employees?
• The Emirati Salary Support Scheme would be applicable to new employees having obtained a job in the private sector after the
launch of the initiative.
5. Does the child allowance apply to the existing employees or only to the new employees
• The Child Allowance Scheme would be applicable to new employees having obtained a job in the private sector after the launch of
the initiative.
6. When is the lowest and highest child allowance calculated, since the minimum allowance is 800 and the highest is 3200, and to what age
group does this allowance apply?
• The highest child allowance by child is AED 800 for employees earning less than AED 20,000 per month. The child allowance
amount is proportionate to the salary earned by the employees, and employees earning more than AED 50,000 do not benefit from
child allowance. Since it’s applicable to a maximum of 4 children, a maximum allowance of 3,200 can be earned by employees.
Additionally, the below criteria must be met:
o Sons to be considered need to be below 21 years old and not currently employed
o Daughters to be considered cannot be married or employed

7. And what happens after five years? Does this benefit still exist then?
• The Child Allowance Scheme will only be applicable for the next 5 years. Following this period, it would be up to the Council of
Ministers to decide whether to renew the applicability of the scheme or not.
8. Will Emiratization points be calculated for these categories whether we hired against a training project or employment?
• Emiratization points will be calculated against full-time employment
9. Will the trainees be enrolled in the pension fund during the training period?
• Trainees would not be enrolled in their pension fund during the training period, and would only be enrolled upon their employment
on a full-time basis.
10. If any of the companies achieve the specified quota, will they be included in the Emiratization Partners Club?
• The Tawteen Gate has been discontinued as of July 1 st 2021, and the Emiratization Partners Club is expected to be discontinued
as well following the launch of Nafis.
11. What are the consequences if the company does not reach the proposed percentage?
• Companies not meeting the proposed percentages would be subject to sanctions.
12. If an employee leaves during the fifth year and another employee is hired, will the government subsidize their salary, or will they not be
covered by this initiative?
• At the beginning of the fifth year, the new employee would benefit from the Emirates Salary Support Scheme for a period of one year
13. If an employee is appointed during the year 2025 or 2026, will they also be covered under this project?
• All national employees hired between 2021 and 2026 by the private sector would be covered as part of the program.
