• The video was made in 1985, so using animation was quite different and new (the
drawing stle with the line flickering is somewhat similar to Take On Me by Aha
• New take on live performance music videos – adds a level of excitement and
electricity

• Although my video is the opposite emotion that is expressed here

• Interesting how the animation gives the audience an idea of what is being said
without hearing it 
• You are seeing their true emotions and feeling that are confusing to them laid
out simply for the audience 
• Adds a level of the video and artist being personal

• Feeling of another world - a step away from ours

• Take something familiar and add a more creative spin to it 
• Interested by the trumpet sections
• Not too music of an obvious, constantly used aspect but it adds a level of fun 
• Could be used in the brass sections of the song - use different people 
• I found the shot with the "energy" lines coming from the singer to have the effect of not only
centring the individual but, similar to the Dire Straits video, they show the energy of the lead
of the shot 
• Could be used in front facing shots
• Fits with the bands youthful brand
