Introduction
 There are severe issue of car parking in many public venues such
as malls, hospitals and cities etc.
 To park an automobile, a person must search for all available
slots.
 To handle the issue of parking we introduce a system smart car
parking . park an automobile, a person must search for all
available slots.
 An automatic parking system that displays the presence of vacant
parking spaces in any lane close to the entrance is required.
 As a result, the individual looking for a parking spot is properly
informed about the current availability of parking spaces.
Problem statement
 Finding a parking spot for a car has become one of the most
pressing problems in our daily lives where cars are a necessity.
 This problem frequently contributes to traffic congestion
during peak hours because of the increased vehicle density.
 If the user has accurate information regarding the parking
space, they won't waste time looking for places or park
incorrectly as a result of a lack of knowledge.
 A smart parking system built on the Internet of Things can
solve the aforementioned issue.
Objectives
 The main purpose of this project is to provide effortless
parking spot.
 The user does not need to waste time in finding the

empty slot.
 Also, if there’s no space left, the user is informed

which saves a lot of time.

Literature Review
 Nowadays, there is a severe issue of car parking in many
public venues such as malls, cinema systems, hospitals,
offices, and market areas. There are many side roads for
car parking in the car-parking area[1].
 In [2], A method to detect current traffic congestion and
predict future traffic congestion has been proposed to
help vehicles escape traffic bottlenecks by providing
them with advance notice. The same interpretation task is
now done by Google Maps. In, a parking system based
on automated check-in and check-out was introduced.

Conclusion

In a large parking facility, our approach reduces

the time spent waiting for a parking spot. It also
aids parking facility owners in maximizing their
venue generation. It would also help to reduce
the amount of manpower required at the parking
facility, lowering costs and reducing errors.
Limitations

 Fast Internet Connection and Computer operator

is required to register users.
 Periodical maintenance of sensors and servo

motor is required.
