Policy
1. Prevention of pollution

Target
To reduce 50% plastic waste of used printer cartridges. To cover some part of open land by plantation To reduce Power consumption 10% from the current level (Dec 2006) To prevent oil spillage of lube oil & handling of diesel oil To develop a useful bio-degradation biodevice for kitchen

AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT


SAFETY

1. Arrangement of classrooms 2. Any breakages should be reported for correction with urgency through proper channel 3. Proper attention during movement to & in dining hall, library,in play ground,labs. 4. Use of safety gloves to be used by electric department. 5. Spares of important equipment to be maintained. 6. Designate place for keeping bags during sports time/ activity time. 7. Logging time In & Out at the gate for any staff going out on duty during school hours. 8. Proper procedure to be followed to provide safety and security during School trips, excursions, camps. 9. Correction of loose wiring/cables. 10. 100% Data Security

ENVIRONMENT

1.Waste disposal of food, paper, plastic glasses,chalks, crayons. 2. Recycle paper, Switch off electric gadgets 3. Use natural light where possible. 4. Awareness /Encouragement to students by teachers regularly. 5. SUPW activities should be designed keeping in mind students participation. 6. Immediate correction of problems related to water wastage by way of leakages .

ACADEMIC

RECOMMENDATIONS


All HODs to ensure that process heads work on defined criteria of their processes.Review the progress and report the same to Chairman s office for compilation & study. HODs to lay down targets for respective staff both as groups and individuals. Regular follow up by
 Fortnightly meeting of HODs with their staff  Monthly HOD meeting with presentation on progress made.  Quarterly report in writing to MR by each HOD for review.
