BUTTERWORTH:
Guru menyalah gunakan kuasa bagi membeli peralatan sukan bernilai
RM2,875 daripada syarikatnya sendiri, Hazwan Event Management.

Beliau mengaku tidak bersalah selepas disabitkan dua tuduahan di bawah


Seksyen 23 Akta Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM).

Tuduhan 1: mengusulkan cadangan membeli 10 rim kertas A4, 30


whiteboard markers, radio, alat pemeriksaan tekanan darah, 3 Kompas, 2
alat penimbang, sebuah trampoline, dan 10 rim kertas warna yang
berjumlah RM2,353.66 pada Oct 17, 2017.

Tuduhan 2: mengusulkan cadangan lain bagi pembelian 5 bola sepak dan


sebuah bola futsal dari syarikat sama bernilai RM522.66 pada Oct 19,
2017.

• Mangsa ditawarkan pampasan £5,000 dan sesi terapi ditanggung sepenuhnya


pihak University College London selepas dibuli oleh pensyarah.
• Mangsa, pelajar lelaki juga mendakwa menghadapi trauma selepas pensyarah
wanita tersebut melakukan gangguan seksual kepada pelajar terbabit.

• Siasatan dilakukan selepas seorang lagi mangsa turur melaporkan perkara yang
sama.
• Siasatan mendapati pensyarah tersebut turut membuat gangguan seksual secara
verbal kepada mangsa
• Tertuduh juga menyalahgunakan kuasa sebagai pensyarah iniversiti tersebut.
• Mangsa-mangsa meluahkan kekecewaan kerana laporan yang dibuat tidak
diendahkan selain mengambil masa yang lama untuk disiasat.
