- It comes from the Greek word “valere” which means to
measure the worth of something.
Max Scheler (1987-1928) is a philosopher who paved way
for this axiology.
“Axiology is a philosophical science and values.”
OVALUES has been defined as any OBJECT, ACTIVITY, or frame of mind that a person considers to be very important to his or her life. O ALL of our values taken together are called a VALUE SYSTEM which exist not only on an individual level, BUT on organization-wide level as well.
