On the Taskbar, click

Start, right-click
Computer and click
Properties

In the System Properties dialog
box, click the Computer Name
tab and click the Change button.

Note: If the computer is

running Microsoft
Windows 7 Home
Premium, Basic or Starter
the Domain radio is
disabled, indicating that
the computer is not
allowed to join a domain.

After specifying the name of the
computer and the domain to join,
click OK
You would be asked to provide
a user name and a password
for a user who has the
permissions to let a computer
join a domain.

users with admin privilege
which allowed a computer
to join a domain > press
Tab then type the
account's password.
