Position of the ZXUN vCG in the Network

CG
• Supports the interconnection with Core
Network (CN) NEs of the PS, EPC, and IMS
domains.

• Implements PS/EPC/IMS CDR processing

functions.

• Generates CDR files in accordance with the

requirements of the Billing Domain (BD)
and sends them to the BD (BD includes the
Charging System and Mediations).

vCG Management Architecture

O&M network architecture

• The VIM, NFVO/VNFM, and ZXUN CG
hardware use a set of servers and the
corresponding functional entities are
implemented on the virtual resources
managed by the VIM.

• The EMS uses a C/S architecture and logs in

to the EMS server through the client to
implement management and operations.

• The NFVO/VNFM uses a B/S architecture

and the client logs in to the server through
a Web browser for management and
operations.

Bi Interface Interconnection

Note:
The Bi interface of the ZXUN CG supports the FTP protocol, meaning that CDR files can be sent to the carrier's
billing center through FTP. CDR FTP transmission modes include Pull mode and Push mode.
 In Pull mode, the ZXUN CG operates as the FTP server while the billing center operates as an FTP client. The
billing center connects to the ZXUN CG and downloads files.
 In Push mode, the ZXUN CG operates as an FTP client while the billing center operates as the FTP server. The
ZXUN CG connects to the billing center and uploads files.
