SCIENCE
ACTIVITY:- Poster making on the endangered Floral species of
Uttarakhand
● Students will make a poster on the given topic. They will stick/draw a picture
of the Floral species. The poster should include the following information:
Scientific name, local name ,environmental threats and measures taken by
the government .
● Photos of the same to be clicked.(2 pictures - work in progress and 1 picture -
finished poster)
● Students will send their work in two slides to the subject teacher for approval.
 MATHS

ACTIVITY:- Topic: Comparing heights of famous temples in Uttarakhand

Instructions:
● Activity to be done on a chart paper (Any colour)
● Collect information on any five famous temples in Uttarakhand and find out its
height.
● Arrange the temples according to the descending order of their heights and also find
its expanded form.
● Collect the pictures of the temples and make a collage of it on the chart paper and
also write any 2 lines about the temple.
 SOCIAL SCIENCE
ACTIVITY:- : Dance performance on folk/classical/tribal dance of Uttarakhand and
Karnataka
TIME LIMIT : 3 min max for both the videos .

Each student will do two small dance performances one from each state.
Step 1: The child should do some research on the dance form with parents guidance.

Step 2: Videos of the students performing to be shot in LANDSCAPE MODE and photos of the same to be
clicked.

Step 3: The slides / videos to be sent to the subject teacher for approval and then the approved slides with
pictures and information to be sent to the team leader for compilation.

Step 4: The student should mention 4-5 sentences showing comparison on each dance form performed along with
the photos sent to the team leader.

IMP - The activity should be presented in two slides only.

ENGLISH
ACTIVITY:- : A short speech on Music of Uttarakhand
TIME LIMIT : 1 min - 1 min 30 sec

Students will give a short speech of Music of Uttarakhand.

Step 1: The content of the speech to be approved by the subject teacher.

Step 2: Videos of the students delivering the speech to be shot in LANDSCAPE MODE and photos of the
same to be clicked.

Step 2: The photos / videos to be sent to the subject teacher for approval and then to the team leader for
compilation.

NOTE: Speech should include information on the following:

● Forms of Music in Uttarakhand, famous musicians, musical instruments of Uttarakhand and any other valid
information.

विषय : - उत्तराखंड और कर्नाटक के पर्यटन स्थलों का अध्ययन

गतिविधि :- बच्चे विभिन्न पर्यटन-स्थलों की जानकारी एकत्रित कर उन्हें पुस्तिका (Pamphlet/ poster) में दर्ज करें गे।
अध्यापिका बच्चों की सहायता करें गी और बच्चे पी.पी.टी के माध्यम से उसे प्रस्तुत करें गे।

Subject: - Tourist places of Uttarakhand and Karnataka

ACTIVITY: - Poster/pamphlet/flyers making on the various tourist places of Uttarakhand and
Karnataka

· Students will make a poster/ pamphlet on the given topic. The poster should include the following
information: -
Geographical conditions, climate, pilgrimage sites, languages, plains and lakes of the two states.
· Photos of the same should be attached.
The pamphlet/ poster to be sent to the subject teacher for approval and then to the team leader for

Compilation.
KANNADA
ACTIVITY:-4 COLLAGE making on festival of Uttarakhand
Nature of activity: collage making with writing
Instruction for students
1. presentation through PPT
2. Each group will do collage making with writing on any one festival
which is celebrated in Uttarakhand.
