Background Information
The study examined the difficulties and problems that the COVID-19
epidemic had caused with regard to the continuity of teaching and
learning in public higher education in the Philippines. The institution's
policies were used as a reference for the teachers as they modified
their lesson plans during lockdowns at the school. Due to poor or
nonexistent internet connectivity, the majority of students had
trouble adhering to the learning activities and requirements.

Nobody knows when the current COVID-19 pandemic will cease, but it has
brought about great difficulties and harmed the educational sectors. Even
though every nation is currently putting plans and processes in place to limit
the virus, illnesses are still steadily increasing. In the context of education,
the new normal should be taken into account in the formulation and execution
of the "new normal educational policy" in order to maintain and offer
excellent education despite lockdown and community quarantine. In light of
education in the Philippines as the new educational standard, this article
discusses prospects for addressing to concerns, problems, and trends that are
already emerging and will develop in the future as a result of the COVID-19

Background Information
The cornerstone of the educational system has recently been rocked by an
extraordinary health crisis. It is crucial to develop a detailed picture of students'
online learning experiences during the COVID-19 epidemic given the uncertainty
of today. Although this topic has been the subject of numerous research, little is
known about the difficulties students face and the particular methods they use
to overcome them. So, this research aims to fill the gap. The results of a mixed-
methods approach showed that the type and severity of online learning
problems faced by college students differed. Their home learning setting
presented the biggest problem, whereas technical literacy and competency
posed the least amount of difficulty. The results also showed that the COVID-19
pandemic had the biggest effect. Barrot, at el. (2021).
State reason for chosen topic
We would like to Identify how hard did the students in the
new normal learning struggled and stressed of their school
works and how they overcome.
Their ways to continue studying even if it’s a bit difficult.
Significance of the topic
Affected: Students, Teachers and Parents

Why are they affected:

Students: Other students who have no access to technology such as internet, computers/gadgets
that are needed in online classes.

Teachers: Adjustments on the curriculum and materials that they use for effective learning.

Parents: Added budget allocation for devices. Extra effort in making sure that the environment
because students are vulnerable in accessing non appropriate websites.

Benefits:
-Health safety of the all the people involved specially the students.
- Adapting new learning styles that other progressive countries are doing.
- Can have more time with their loved ones.
