2022 Midterm Election Mini-Unit
• The 2022 Midterm election is Tuesday, November 8th.
• Citizens across the country will be voting for all 435 House seats, 33 Senate
seats and a slew of state and local officials.
• In California, not only are all 52 House seats up for election, but one of our
Senate seats, and numerous state and local positions.
• In Anaheim, the mayor position and three City Council positions are on the
ballot, as well as trustees of the AUHSD and AE.
• In addition, Californians will get the chance to vote directly for or against
seven state laws or constitutional amendments - which are called
propositions.
• Today, (and this weekend) - we will study the seven propositions.
