Production Log

Intro

This is my intro inserted onto my timeline after it was edited. I recorded both my intro and
outro on the same record to make it easier when it came to inputting and editing it in. I used
markers to select the bits I wanted to go on my timeline. I didn’t need to adjust my sound
levels as they were perfect as they were.
Outro

This is my outro inserted onto my timeline after it was edited. I used markers to select the
parts I wanted to put on my timeline. I didn’t have to adjust any of the sound levels as they
were perfect as they were. I moved the outro away from the other recordings, this was
done to ensure there were no mix ups with any of the other recordings.
Interview With Adjusted Sound Levels

This is my full interview on my timeline with adequately adjusted sound levels. I found it hard to edit my
interview as the interviewee parts were extremely quiet. I had to insert the full interview into my
timeline, turn the sound up so it was clear what was being said, and use the razor tool to edit out any
mistakes and merge responses together. I used keyframes where possible to adjust the sound levels.
Music Bed And Sound Effect Inserted

This is my sound effects and music bed on my timeline. I put the sound effect at the very start, with
the music bed coming in before the start of the interview and playing close to the middle. I still
needed to adjust the sound levels and extend the music bed.
Sound Levels Adjusted On Both Music Bed
And Sound Effect

This is my music bed and sound effect with the sound levels adequately adjusted on my timeline.
Using keyframes, I had the music bed fade down to a quieter sound level as the intro started. I
did this to prevent the music from overpowering the interview and being too loud. I had to lower
the sound further in the singing parts of the music bed as it became hard to hear the interview. I
had to put the music bed in twice as it weren’t long enough and didn’t play throughout the
interview. I put my sound effect at the end, as well as the start, this was done to give an abrupt
end to the interview without it feeling too out of place or awkward.
Graphic Inserted And Final Radio Interview
Complete

This is my graphic created and inserted onto my timeline. I chose this font as I
thought it looked cool and stood out. I centralised the text and used a different font
size on each line, this was done for effect and to highlight the title. The graphic was
shown throughout the interview. With that, my final radio interview was complete.
